never felt so good

...to be back working with fibre, soap and water! Especially given such worrying times.  It's good to go back to simple basics and get on with "doing" when there is nothing else you can alter but what goes on around you.

Had some fun today with a multicoloured piece made to chop up for some small pieces.  I love the effect of adding the silk fibres and just how minutely wrinkly they become during the process.

Recently I was going through some photographs taken over the last couple of months looking for some inspiration for textures when I came across this...





















I must use it some how... may be some cut work through felt or silk.

And finally some sketches for new broach ideas...
